With large number of scientists around the world working to advance science to greater heights, the web 2.0 concept of bringing all of them to one platform is important and very much needed.

There can be many beneficial faces of this new approach:

1. Online aggregation of all information: This will give all of us a comprehensive place to find all information.

2. Mass Interaction: We need to interact and exchange information with as many as possilbe peers to do the most cutting edge research.

3. Possible collaborations: Online portals give opportunities to find right collaborators from across the world also.

So, what do you think about this topic? Do you find it useful? What do you think of online networking for scientists. Can it be successful?
